Marshalls

Marshalling is for anybody who is interested in and wants to be involved in motorsport. You don’t need any special skills or qualifications, just common sense and a reasonable sense of self-preservation.

The BRSCC has its own marshalling service upon which it relies heavily in order to complete its annual quota of race meetings throughout the year. In order to become a marshal, you will first of all need to apply to become a Club Member of the BRSCC*. In doing so, you will not only enjoy the benefits given to all Club Members; you are eligible for a discount scheme on your Club Membership subscription. In recognition of the work done by our marshalling force, you will receive a £1.00 voucher for each day you attend at a BRSCC organized race meeting. The maximum value which can be redeemed against your membership in any one year is 50% of the membership fee.

*Marshals who are members of other clubs are always welcome to assist at BRSCC meetings.

To co-ordinate its marshalling force the BRSCC has appointed a Chief Marshal for each of its Regional Centres. The Chief Marshal for the East Anglian centre is Peter Rodwell, who will happily provide further information, should you require it.

The (provisional) marshals availability form for 2009 is now available, as a PDF file. Select to view/print (requires Adobe Acrobat Reader).
